  • Winter Small Group Studies: In the month of January all high school youth will sign up to participate in a small group on Sunday evenings in a youth minister’s or parent’s home.
  • Service Opportunities are provided year round with a special emphasis in December & May.
  • Socials are also offered year round with an emphasis in September, December and May
  • Liturgy: Our teens are highly encouraged to attend weekly Mass and to be actively serving at Mass as an usher, altar server, lector, musician/singer, Timmy’s Tots or CLOW aid

Baltimore Work Camp:This year’s theme: Be Not Afraid

“The Baltimore WorkCamp was a great experience – a mission trip in our own Archdiocese”
– John-Paul, Senior

A $50 non-refundable deposit for work camp is due February 10, 2017

The full cost of work camp is $425 per attendee HOWEVER you will not be paying that much! We do a lot of fundraising for work camp (Walkersville Days Yard Sale), so as long as you participate in the fundraising, your cost will come down.

I loved WorkCamp. My crew’s project showed me how to work with others as a community, and it was a lot of fun too!      – Hannah, Junior

Final Payment and Forms: The final payment for work camp will be due after the yard sale. Forms must be turned in with your final payment.

“The time we spent with our residents was really great. The interaction with them was very positive.”     – Cecelia, Sophomore

Peer Ministry

If you are at least a sophomore in high school and have completed the sacraments of initiation you are eligible to apply to become a peer minister.  IMG_2712 (1)

Our peer ministers meet for one hour before Life Teen in the break out rooms. At these meetings they learn about leadership, prayer, team work, Scripture and how to use their own talents to glorify God.

Most of the peer ministers serve heavily in the Confirmation Process. So there are additional planning meetings, retreats and activities associated with that.
